Queensland...and Camping on a New Continent

Queenstown is quaint and has a vibe that was young and active - lots of outdoor tourist options, bar/restaurants and a bit rowdy...fun!

After getting the rental car (right-hand drive), Tammy spent some time driving through town to get used to being on the opposite side of the road - weird to adapt your habits. We parked at a local market and loaded up with a few days of food - no shopping bags, just boxes or bring your own bags. With a car and supplies now, we headed to Milford Sound on the West coast.

Our first camp site (Deer Flat) on the way to Milford Sound

These traps are everywhere, trying to control the rodent population that was introduced to the island.
