Independence Day in The Big Apple!

Our first stop on the way to Turkey was one in New York City. We flew into LaGuardia airport and although the American Airlines flight was full, the airport was nearly empty.

This will be a memorable image for several reasons...

We stayed overnight in a hotel near the Brooklyn Bridge. We walked out for dinner and stumbled on a rooftop bar that had views of Manhattan and many fireworks.
