Since our Milford Sound boat tour wasn’t until the next day, we decided to see how long and treacherous the drive was going to be, so drove to the sound the day before.
...apparently the drive can be treacherous - this was the scene off of one of the few spur roads and on the way back from the boat ride.
At one pullout we came across these alpine parrots (Kea) that we’re pretty intent on tearing rubber parts off of parked cars.
